Stine, Cine & Jean Fishing Ministry

Stine, Cine & Jean is a faith-based ministry designed for seasoned women who find peace, joy, and connection through the art of fishing. This ministry offers more than just a day by the water—it’s a safe place where stories are shared, prayers are lifted, and hearts are refreshed.

Whether casting lines or casting cares, our gatherings are rooted in scripture, serenity, and sisterhood. We celebrate the wisdom of our elders, the healing power of nature, and the spiritual lessons found in patience, stillness, and trust.

  • Peaceful fishing outings at local lakes and rivers & fellowship lunches
  • Devotionals and prayer circles by the water
  • Transportation to Sunday Church Service
  • Encouragement for emotional & spiritual wellness
  • Occasional workshops on fishing techniques & gear care

Written Prayer Exchange

Guided Prayer

One leader guides the group through a themed prayer (e.g., forgiveness, restoration). Great for newcomers or structured gatherings.

Silent Prayer Time

Everyone prays silently for a few minutes, then shares reflections or scriptures. Creates space for listening and discernment.

Prayer Walk

Walk together through a neighborhood, or ministry space while praying. Physically covers the area in intercession.

Worship

Essence of Worship

Worship is the response of the heart to the knowledge of the mind when both rightly understand and value God. Worship is "giving God the best that HE has given to you" (Oswald Chambers). Worship is presenting your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God. (Romans 12:1)

Worship is more than music or ceremony—it’s a lifestyle of adoration, submission, and sacrifice to God.

Worship can take many forms, including:

  • Praise and Singing – Celebrating God’s goodness (Psalm 100, Colossians 3:16)

  • Prayer and Intercession – Communing with God and uplifting others

  • Sacrificial Living – Offering your time, talents, and heart (Romans 12:1)

  • Acts of Love and Service – Worship through compassion and outreach
